On Monday, 2 February 2026, Golconda Asia Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Apichet Thung-uan, President, together with Ms. Pimpun Punthong, Vice President, Dr.Tunya Kunta, Director of Research and Development and Business Consultant, and Mr.Sahasawat Phithaksacha, Oversea Manager, participated in the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai University.
The MoU was signed on behalf of the Faculty of Agriculture by Assistant Professor Dr. Darunee Naprom, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture. This agreement aims to establish collaboration on the project entitled “Northern Agro-Industrial Cooperative Demonstration Farm of Chiang Mai University”, under the Faculty of Agriculture’s 13th Educational Development Plan.
The collaboration focuses on developing a prototype area for hands-on learning in agro-industry, promoting the integration of teaching, practical training, and research in partnership with the private sector. The initiative seeks to enhance human resource capacity and support the sustainable development of agro-industrial systems in line with the Smart Agriculture concept.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Associate Professor Dr. Tossapol Moonmanee, Head of the Integrated Research, Demonstration and Training Center for Agricultural Innovation, and Mr. Thappatai Nosuwan, Senior Professional Agricultural Scientist of the same center. The ceremony was held at Phongsak Angsith Conference Room, Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai University.
